The Pay-it-Forward Project is something that was created with the intent of being available for people to visit a table at every pen show, with an intent of giving back to the community of fountain pen enthusiasts as much as possible. We had a successful debut at the Washington D.C. Pen Supershow in 2017. We've since continued our efforts, bringing a Pay-It-Forward table to every show that we can make an appearance to. Our goal is to reach every pen show possible. With your help, we'll be able to.
We have two different purposes with the Pay-it-Forward Project. We hope to attend shows with "Fountain Pen starter kits" that consist of introductory pens, ink and writing pads that are tailored for new users and children. Our starter packs are individually tailored for young children, young adults and those young at heart. For our more veteran pen enthusiasts, we also have several offerings that include sponsored giveaways, and a re-homing program for pens, ink, paper and other writing paraphernalia that others found that they were not using enough. Everyone is welcome to bring any items they have that they do not feel that they show enough love to, and would like to offer up for adoption to a new home .
We are operating this table with a not for profit purpose. All donations will be applied towards the cost of the table, supplies and giveaways throughout the shows. Any pens or pen paraphernalia you would like to donate would be more than welcome, we are deeply grateful for any support. Please feel free drop off your donations at our table when you come to visit, or you can mail them in advance with the information located on our Donations page.
